First off let me say congratulations.  If you’re reading this then chances are you’re about to experience the joy of having a baby.  Well, you won’t physically be having the baby but you get what I mean.  This is an exciting time in a man’s life as he will officially become a father for the first time, or for a subsequent time.

Today marks the 44^th birthday of who many Hip Hop aficionados consider to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rapper to ever live; Nasir Jones aka Nas.

The moment we all been waiting for since February is finally here, FOOTBALL SEASON! The long off season and pointless preseason games are over; it’s time to get down to business. 

It’s that time of year where we’re all gearing up for football season! You’ve already renewed your season tickets, you ordered a new jersey to start the season off with, and you’ve already engaged in trash talk with family and coworkers on how good your team will be this season.

Before I even get started, I want you to keep three things in mind while reading this article.

As fans of Hip Hop, there are quite a few things that standout in our minds when we think of the most memorable songs ever made.  When we think of a good story telling song, we may think of Children’s Story by Slick Rick or Stan by Eminem.  If we’re thinking of posse cuts, maybe Scenario by A Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School comes to mind.  And if we’re thinking of club bangers, what better song to think of than 50 Cent’s In da Club?
